MI VS GL IPL 2016 9TH T20 MATCH: MUMBAI VS GUJARAT SCORECARD
On eighth day of Indian Premier League 9, MI vs GL match will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on 16th April 2016.This is the 9th match of the tournament. Gujarat lions is one of the two new teams of IPL 2016, which is making its debut with Rising Pune Supergiants by replacing banned teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for two years. MI has always been filled with some of the star cricketers but was unable to perform in initial two seasons of Indian Premier League. But the team soon changed its performance level and proved its capabilities by qualifying for final match in third season in 2010 where the team only managed to become runner-up as they were defeated by CSK by 22 runs. After three years in 2013, MI achieved its first success and became the champion. They repeated the history in 2015 under the same captain Rohit Sharma. In IPL 2016, MI will be lead by the same captain whereas Sachin Tendulkar will contribute his experience as a mentor.
Considering Gujarat Lions in anyway low could be the biggest mistake of opponents. GL has already started its journey with a win in the third match against Kings XIP Punjab. Suresh Raina who is a former CSK player is now leading the Gujarat team for IPL 9. Some of the key players of the team are Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Smith and captain himself.
