Both the team have won equal matches in the league stage, so in terms of their previous match they are on the same platform. But KKR defeated SRH 2 times in IPL 2016 which is a plus point for Kolkata where SRH will take it as a challenge and will try to give it back to the Knight Riders. Both the team played sensible cricket so far in the tournament and due to which they have qualified into the play-offs.

The opening pair of both the teams are the pillars of their innings. Shikhar Dhawan scored 463 runs in 14 innings with 4 fifties but the strike rate was not impressive (118.71). In the last match against KKR he has achieved 50 runs marks in just 28 balls but the inning gone in vain as they lost the match by 22 runs.

In the KKR Batting line up two batsman which are impressed every one in the IPL 2016 are Andre Russell and Yusuf Pathan. Both have batted wonderfully and played some match winning innings, Specially Yusuf pathan who is very impressive while chasing. He has scored 359 runs at the strike-rate of 148.34 which tells all the story about his form. Russell missed last two games due to an injury but good news of the Kolkata is that he might play today’s match as he was practicing in the nets and looking fit for the match. Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey and Shakib Al hasan also strengthened the batting order of their team.

If we look at the SRH batting line up, the whole team pretty much dependent of David warner, if he got out early the team comes under pressure.
