Most expensive Players of IPL 2016 :Pawan Negi won the Race
We have just witnesses the IPL Auction 2016 on 6 Feb 2016. Total 351 players are auctioned out of which 94 are sold. In this trading of 66 Indian & 28 overseas players total amount spend by the franchises are Rs 136 crores. Shane Watson become the most expensive players of the IPL 2016 gone to Royal Challengers Bangalore team for Rs 9.5 crore.
Young Pawan Negi was the center of attraction of IPL 2016 Auction. The bid started from Rs 30 Lacs and after a tight competition between Rising Pune Supergaints and Delhi Daredevils, he was bought by DD for a whooping amount of Rs 8.5 crore and became the most expensive Indian players for IPL 2016. Last year he played for Chennai Super Kings under Mahendra Singh Dhoni but this year he will be part of Delhi.
Unlike last year, Yuvraj Singh got 3rd position in the most expensive player table of Indian Premier League 2016, gone to Sunrisers Hyderabad for 7 crores. Christopher Morris also shared the same spot and bought by Daredevils for 7 Crores. Another shocking bid was for M. Ashwin, sold to Pune for Rs 4.5 Crore where base price of the player was only Rs 10 lacs.
